On this occasion, representatives of the State Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Croatia, including Lidija Brković, the Chief Director, Nada Pejić, the Head of the Human Resources, Legal, and General Affairs Department, and Mario Vlajčević, the Head of the Statistics Department for Criminal Justice and Social Welfare, visited statistical institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of sharing their own experiences and lessons learned from the recently successful peer review assessment of the Croatian statistical system's compliance with the principles of the Code of Practice of European Statistics.

"The fundamental purpose of this peer review assessment is to gain insight into the compliance of the Code of Practice in Bosnian and Herzegovinian statistics with European principles and to ensure high-quality statistical data for users through improvements in the institutional environment, statistical production processes, and statistical results," said Vesna Ćužić, the Director of the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ćužić also emphasized that due to the complexity of this activity, the experiences of colleagues from Croatia will be of great benefit to the statistical institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
